My latest techno toy - a Belkin Bluetooth Music Receiver. You can plug this into any kind of stereo equipment and hook it up wirelessly to your iMac, iPhone, iPad, or whatever Bluetooth stereo audio device you have.
On your audio device ie. computer, this behaves like any other audio output. So you can hook up that good old hi-fi to your computer up to 10m away without the need lay another cable. Neat, isn't it?
On the pro side, this sounds so much better than the inbuilt mini speakers in the iMac. On the con side, you will hear the artefacts in badly/heavily compressed MP3, as the audio will be recompressed for the A2DP data transmission.
