Cooking, only exciting if you're making something interesting, I however, am currently making 'fuel' so I can go to work, pasta with a nice sauce i made.
Tomato, garlic, mushrooms etc.
Had an day off yesterday, sat around with Heather doing nothing. Amazing.
One of my best friends Ben's girlfriend at 2pm gave birth to a baby boy Zachary Peter Angus, I'm so fucking happy. I phoned my friend Fraser and screamed down the phone to him and had a wee cry.
Frank Turner tshirt is totally win.
However, picture of it is very low quality as lighting in living room not so good.
So, been kinda busy, managed to land myself a job in a nice restaurant in town. It's in the center of Edinburgh and is pretty close to my flat.
Got up to Aberdeen for a night to see the fantastic Gavin, had a brilliant party, loads of fun.
Also, Heather has moved into Edinburgh from Newcastle, not on the best circumstances but I'm happy she's here, and safe.
Hopefully I can get her a job, and hopefully get a flat with her soonish.
Off to help a friend unpack, he's been living with boxes for a while now so we're all chipping in to help him clean and stuff.
Then we're going to all cook. So I've got onions and pesto and I'm off to buy honey and bay leaves, apparently Mike already has chicken. God only knows what we're making but it usually ends up alright.
You guys would hire me right?
I'm off out jobhunting in the mean streets of Edinburgh!
First I've got stupid errands to run like going to the bank like an adult, which I'm not.
Also have to give Davie his backpack with posters in it, why can't he just pay me to put them about...I mean for fuck sake.
Hopefully off to a nice gig at the Jazz Bar later on with Mike, should be nice, I've not seen him in what seems like ages but is actually only a couple of days, but we usually hang out millions so it seems longer.
Just got back to the flat after a weekend in Aberdeen, sorry I couldn't booth while I was away.
It was my dad's 50th birthday party on Saturday which was really good fun, everyone was there and got on just dandy. I love a family gathering that doesn't result in an argument.
Was at a tastey gig tonight in Finnigans Wake in Edinburgh watching my mate's band Cab Collective, they're writing so much new shit right now and it's really coming together, chuffed!
Evening.
Nice and Sunny down here in Edinburgh so I'm off to sit in the meadows.
Last day before I visit Aberdeen to see my dad for his 50th birthday, crazy days.
