I've got a cup of coffee (I added some hot chocolate mix just to shake things up a bit) and I'm going to snuggle up with my keyboard and do some serious editing.
This project is taking it's toll on me.
Throughout the course of writing my screenplay I found these to be some central themes that came up. A couple of them are directly addressed with dialogue, but they're all really things that my characters had to figure out. And, to be able to know my characters, I had to figure them out too. I've been keeping this by my computer desk so I always have in mind what my characters are going through whenever I write. When I think about those topics, it makes me feel like it's a heavy movie, and maybe it is in some regards. But, as a whole, I think it will be very enjoyable to watch.
I don't know when I'll be done writing. I've been at this thing for a long time. The screenplay has gone through a ton of different revisions. It's barely anything like it was when I started. I want to say that I'll be done next week. But I just don't know. I do know that I'm really happy with the way it's turning out. It's a movie that I'd love to watch.
P.S. I freaking love dry erase boards. I keep buying more for different things. Pretty soon I'll have a dry erase board for every project I have.
