    INST - I'm Not Sad Today.

    Anyway, here's my story.

    I’m NOT sad today.
    Okay, I lied. I’m not that sad today.
    I woke up this morning feeling like complete shit, honestly. I got 4 hours of sleep, at most. One of my best friends, Daniella, attempted suicide last night. The only thing I could do was message her because she lives 3 and a half hours away. I’ve never even met her but she means so much to me, and I love her so much. I’ve never cried so hard in my life than I did last night. A bit after she posted that she was going to kill herself, she posted that there was blood everywhere, and she regrets doing it and she’s not going through with it. That post made me so happy, you don’t even understand. After that she posted that she was going to answer some messages and then clean up and go to bed. After answering a few messages, she stopped responding to them. I got really scared. I thought something might have happened to her. An hour or so later, another friend of hers, Shayla, messaged me and told me that she got nervous and told her parents, who called the police. They took her to the hospital. I haven’t heard anything from Daniella since last night when she stopped answering messages. I know where she is, and I know she’s okay, but I’m still really scared. I don’t know what I’d do without her.
    Anyway, so this morning I woke up worried and sad. I spent all day refreshing her tumblr, twitter, and facebook to see if she’d posted anything so I could talk to her. But she hasn’t. So, naturally, I was sad. Then, on my dash, I saw the “I’m Not Sad Anymore” project. I saw the blog that was made for it. I saw all the people posting their pictures. It was truly inspiring. Sam is truly inspiring.
    Sam, we don’t know each other, but right now I can tell you that you’re probably one of my favourite people ever right now. This project can help so many people. It already did. It helped me. It helped me look on the positive side of things. It helped me remember that “There is always something to smile about”. So thank you, Sam. I love you.
