Yes, I'm still alive!!! I'm sorry I haven't been around. On top of computer troubles (a broken logic board that took a week to get replaced), I've had quite a lot to do for school as the end of my undergraduate career approaches.
I really want to thank all of you amazing, loyal followers. I'm so honored that you guys have patiently stuck around for so long, while I've disappeared and reappeared unpredictably, and failed to give any of you the comments you deserve. You guys mean a lot to me. Though I don't show my appreciation often enough, or in any meaningful way, I really do care about you. I keep all the moments we've shared very close to my heart, and plan on creating more beautiful memories with each one of you, as soon as I have a decent opportunity.

I just wanted to stop in and say hello. I don't really have time to stick around or give you all comments tonight, but if I'm productive enough, tomorrow might be better (which means it most likely won't be).
For those of you who don't know, this is me and my cat, Dax. She recently had to have her tail removed after it was broken and mangled by something in the forest (likely a coyote, which means she was lucky to escape with her life).
I'll spare you any gross images of the shaved stump and the stitches, but I thought you should all know that she's on the mend and feeling quite happy and energetic!

OK, I have 15 tags I failed to respond to (that's right I kept track of all of you, and if I told you I was eventually going to do your tag, I meant it, dammit!).

So...my cat, Roland, bit me the other day, and I...I just haven't been feeling like myself ever since...but suddenly I'm stronger and way more athletic. My hearing and olfactory faculties are perceiving entirely new dimensions of sound and smell, my newly-sprouted whiskers can sense the slightest disturbance in my surroundings and I've developed huge retractable claws.

My mother accuses me of being childish quite frequently. She says "Jared, that's the kind of thing you did when you were four."
However, I don't believe her words have their intended effect on me. You see, to be honest, I like the idea of being childlike. Why act old and dreary? I'd rather not wear the masks society expects me to. Let's face it, it's better to be who you are naturally, and "immature" is just more interesting, if you ask me!

Well, it actually looks like this is semi-weeklybooth for me.
Anyway, I figured it was time for something new...since, frankly, I'm good and tired of seeing my nipples every time I sign in.
So here I am, sitting on the chair/clothing mound in my bedroom. That's right, before I go to bed, I take off my clothing and drape it on this chair...slowly its dimensions have become the stuff of rumpled, musty legend. Pretty undignified, eh?!
