    (That's me in the burgundy and black and Abbey beside me in the purple.) We spent the day at the park with my parents. I spent almost two hours playing in the creek with the kids. Having a fearless 5 year-old daughter means you have to be just as fearless.

I'm a mom to three wonderful (albeit weird) children. I'm a closet nerd full of vast amounts of absolutely useless knowledge about everything from cloth diapers and SciFi to classical literature and Ancient Rome. But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate a good Family Guy reference or bit of adolescent humor as much as the next girl. My main hobbies include spending too much time online, playing Vampire: the Masquerade, and writing stories.
