    Mother-in-law is here helping me unpack, winnow, and restore things to their proper places in the condo.

    Pretty warm outside. Doggy went out for a few minutes in the morning, but decided to come back inside where it was more comfortable. (His brindle hair heats up quickly.) Little Bo is camped out behind my computer. I can reach between the monitor and the tower to pet her.

    Lynn is back at work. She tires easily, but keeps up at her tasks.

    Took @Jackatarian's hint and trimmed my beard back into middle age.

    Still going slow on moving boxes. It was easier getting things out than in. I burned so with anxiety yesterday that I did nearly nothing. Today I got the boxes and a couple of lamps to Salvation Army. Now to wire up the entertainment center.

    Drake is well after his misadventure. He's slept for most of the day.

    Good news -- Lynn's cancer is responding to treatment. She may not have to spend a year getting chemotherapy.

    Bizarre news: Drake jumped out of a second story window. The vet declares him a little wobbly but healthy.

    Very tiring day. Got the closets set up. But I did not do a thing. I don't feel the motivation to get things done. There's a garage down there and I hate the sight of all the boxes.

    Despair is an evening word.

    I am paralyzed. Can't quite decide how to proceed with the reintegration of my condo. The thing is that I like the emptiness.

    Hi. I've not been gone, but devoted to other things the past few days. On Thursday, we have a closet crew coming to -- yes, you guessed it -- fix the closets so that we can store stuff in them. We've also been going to IKEA to pick up furniture such as a recliner for Lynn.

    Did I show you the rug? I have to show you the rug.

    Lynn underwent her third round of chemo today. She gets a few weeks off now so she can be tortured with twenty minutes of radiation each day. We'll see how the timing goes on that.

    I have my own problems. I am having an upper tooth removed. It has rotted so deep that it looks like they are going to have to do an operation to implant a bone graft between the jaw and a sinus cavity. I am not happy about this one more catastrophe.

    I did buy myself a used Nikonos, an underwater camera which should give me the freedom to take pictures on rainy days and at the edge of the ocean. I've run away from many good shots because I didn't want to soak my camera. This will mean that it doesn't matter.

    Had a woman over to help us redesign the closets. In addition to the usual racks, drawers, and shelves, she also designed in a little space in two of the closets for Little Bo to crawl into. My cat will appreciate that, I am sure.

    Next week Lynn goes back to work. I will be alone to handle the task of reintegrating the stuff in the garage with the household above. I am not looking forward to bringing back the clutter, so I am being very tough with myself on what comes back and where it goes.

    Some people say that I should toss as much as I can without telling Lynn....I am not so high-handed, but the fact remains I must make many decisions by myself.

    I am now reversing the process. Today we installed Little Bo's new scratching post and started putting felt pads on the furniture.

    Tomorrow, Little Bo returns with me to the condo. Painters come on Monday. If all goes well, Lynn returns at the end of the week.

    @EmpressNorton and I loafing. We have a lot to do next week -- the condo will be inhabitable. First thing to set up -- cat furniture. Then the computer.

    Waiting for a storm to hit. Now reports have it coming down early tonight to just before dawn tomorrow. The big question for me is "Will the floorers get enough done so that we can move in this weekend?" Stay tuned.

    Showing love for Little Bo.

    Drake escaped from his spa yesterday -- three times! We finally found and plugged the gap. Seems he was trying to find Lynn and me. (We failed to visit him for three straight days!)

    New plan is for me to visit every day to let him know that we still think of him.

    Other than that, I see the #Teaparty is still spreading disinformation.

    I dunno. Post a cute picture of your cat or dog or hamster or rat or whatever.
