Laughter is a beautiful thing. Not only is it a sign of joy in the person laughing, it's infectious enough to inspire happiness in those around him or her.
What makes you laugh harder than anything else? And how do you most enjoy making others laugh?4 commentsMay 7th, 2012

Hi there compadres, its been a while!
So its an election year, and while I don't like getting into politics, I'm wondering what everyone thinks of the current lineup!
Will Romney prove that you don't need emotions to win?
Will Gingrich fistfight the others for supremacy?
Will that Santo-something be significant in any way?
Will Ron Paul change the country?
Or will Obama reign for another 4 years?
Place your bets, in 10 months, we'll know who was right.19 commentsFebruary 1st, 2012

Hey guys! Its been a few months!
So, I'm sure it sounds a bit corny, but I love the holidays. Spending time with one's friends/family and remembering the beauty of the simple things in life is essential to happiness, and I always feel good at the end of the year.
What are your Christmas/Hanukkah/Holiday plans?18 commentsDecember 8th, 2011

Hair cut-ed.
I like to imagine that's a random, giant hand reaching out and grabbing my head.
I'll be heading back to classes soon, and I'm massively excited. What do you guys have planned for the next school year?10 commentsAugust 22nd, 2011

Still pinching my ears. Fifteen days later, it's beginning to hurt.
So I like writing, but I'm not particularly crazy about reading. While expert narratives like those crafted by George R.R. Martin (A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones) and H.P. Lovecraft (The Call of Cthulhu) have captured my imagination, I find myself looking to video games as an exciting way to deliver a stirring, non-linear story.
I'm in the process of writing an overview, both conceptual and narrative, of an atmospheric, horror-themed game. I probably won't post much more about it, but it's got me excited!

I feel weird, because I'm a pretty selfish person, but the things I do to benefit myself often end-up benefiting others as well. So it all works out, right?
As long as you aren't hurting others, it can be good to put yourself first. The better your own position, the easier it will be to help others. After all, if everyone could be like Christ or Buddha, they wouldn't have entire religions centered around their extraordinary selflessness.13 commentsJuly 18th, 2011

So gay marriage passed in NY about 2 weeks ago, which is pretty super. I know a lot of people who are/were skeptical about the change to the "age-old institution of marriage," but I feel that the worth of an institution should not be measured by who it is denied to.
I'm straight, so I won't act like I've felt the sting of prejudice firsthand, but I can only imagine what it must be like to feel that your legitimate and heartfelt love for someone is invalid in the eyes of your community. Love breeds peace, which is good for all of us, so why stand in it's way?
Also, I love how people dressed in the 1920s, I need some outfits like that. :O33 commentsJuly 7th, 2011

As close to a smile as I get. haha
So summer sucks a bit as a college student. Most of my new friends have gone home to different states, while most of my old friends are off on vacations and trips, if they haven't moved out of state altogether.
While I could mope and complain, I feel that time alone can be well spent getting to know yourself and planning out what you want to accomplish in the near future. Meditation and video games also help. haha
How are you guys coping with the summer?14 commentsJuly 2nd, 2011

One of the most important things in life is reciprocation. Giving back to those who have given to you.
Whether that's something as obvious as hugging the person you like as often as they hug you, or something easily overlooked, like talking with people who go out of their way to speak with you, reciprocation (along with communication) is what sustains good relationships and friendships.
Too often, people who gain popularity in life begin to neglect, and even look down on, their fans and the people who admire them. This is why so many people dislike celebrities: They forget who they were before they were wealthy.
So never forget the people who care about and support you, show them you care! Whether they're your friends, your family, even your Dailybooth followers! haha12 commentsJune 19th, 2011
