I often find myself with not a lot to talk about.
This then results in me drumming lightly on my spacebar while thinking.

Well, I suppose I could talk about my Friday night.
I went out with Eli to eat Chinese and see a movie. (By Chinese I mean food, of course. I am not a cannibal.)
The food was great, as always, but the movie... eh.
We saw Project X, and it was funny and all but... meh.
It really has a terrible ending.
Once the nerdy kid goes back to school after his "epic party" everyone treats him like a king.
Then thee uh.. movie ends.
That's pathetic! It's basically saying if you provide a cool party for everyone to get hammered at, you're going to be super popular and loved by all the people that used to ignore you.
I know it's just a movie, but still.

It's my birthday Friday ahhhh!
Cept for not really.
I mean yes, the birthday part, but not really to the "ahhh!" part.
It's just another year, ya know?
I feel like nothing is really as spectacular as it used to be as a kid.
Back in the day I would get stoked over even minor holidays.
Now it's just like... meh.
I guess that's just growing up.

I had a lovely Valentines day, thanks for asking.
Oh, you want to know details?
Well, if you insist.
My boyfriend, Eli, picked me up early in the evening.
He brought me a lovely vase full of flowers. Much appreciated.
Then we went out to eat at Wave Pizza.
It's basically this little dive pizza place that serves personal pan deliciousness.
The whole place is decorated like a surf shack, and there is a giant shark head sticking out of the front of the building.
I love it, to say the least.
So I took him there for the first time, and we feasted upon fantastic pizza.
Afterwards, we went to Coldstone. (which I had never been to before)
I was surprised he suggested this considering we were both stuffed.
His logic: You're never too full for icecream. It fills in the cracks.
^Respect.
When we got back to my place we watched That 70's Show until around 12.
That was basically my night. I loved every second of it.

I think people who complain about being alone on valentines day are obviously alone for a reason. I also disagree with the I'm only going to show you how much I love you and what you mean to me for one day.
