There was this girl, who aged 4, received a jigsaw puzzle.
She wasnt too interested at first, she added a piece here and there, day by day.
By age 13 She was almost finished. she could see the picture it formed. It was a boy and a girl, holding hands, skipping into the sunset.
The only piece missing was the face of the boy.
But no matter how hard she looked, she couldnt find it.
Growing desperate, searching everywhere, she at last came across what she thought was the last piece of the puzzle. it was a jigsaw piece, with a face of a boy.
She got home, beside herself with joy, and went to place it into its rightful place.
It wouldn't fit. No matter how hard she tried to shove it in, it wouldn't fit.
The girl started crying, being so close to finding her last jigsaw piece, she had damaged the pieces around the face, from trying to force it into place.
She wasnt even sure if she found the right piece, if it would fit anymore.
And so the little girl kept searching, hoping one day, to be able to complete her jigsaw.
Can't you see that you're smothering me?
Holding too tightly, afraid to lose control
Cause everything that you thought I would be
Has fallen apart right in front of you
