A colorful and pleasant place. I was disappointed because the volcano was too dangerous and the summit had then been placed out of bounds to tourists. Moreover, there was no lava flowing into the sea during that period...
The first picture shows the main cratere called "Gran Cratere".
On the third and fourth pictures we can see the sulfur mud bath. It is really hot (about 40 to 50°C). The basic principle is to stay a while in this mud bath and then run into the sea and sink into a special (cold) water that flows along this side of the coast. The smell is extremely strong (sulfur smells like rotten eggs) and it remains on the body for several days and on clothes for several months!
