I have switched up my location and moved back home for the next two weeks[-ish] before I head off to far away lands. As I have brought a significant amount of my stuff with me I have got my whole set up with me, in this new location. I will try and get a picture of it tomorrow as I think it is quite neat and suprisingly compact. The only downside being that the wireless connection is kind of naff so I can't really multitask with my laptop and PC as only the PC is online.
I have to pop down to the doctors tomorrow to get some vaccinations, but beyond that I have no real plans. Mad Men and Dead Island seems pretty solid, though I may switch Dead Island out for Skyrim as I have severely neglected that game. And a friend has a Diablo 3 pass for me so I need to get that at some point.
So tomorrow I head home, and I have spent today not packing up my stuff because I am lazy and the like.
Played Dead Island, went to see the Olympic torch, watch Mad Men and had Chinese take-away. The girls I live with even bought me a little cake as a going away gift.
I have to get up tomorrow and clean up my desk, as it is all that needs to be done (and it has fallen into disregard during the year)
Several of my friends and groups went out to a place in Swansea called Sin City this evening but I am far too tired so instead spent the evening at home, feeling sleepy, not really wanting to do anything.
I am showing the new president of our society how to do some society stuff tomorrow, and then going to the pub with a mate for a bit. Not sure who is coming with us though.
Anyway, I am going to get a relatively early night.
Exams are over, I just want to be like Braveheart and shout 'FREEDOM' but supporting Mel Gibson feels wrong.
I went out with the group from my year, as we all finished today which was a nice way to end the year. It was pretty relaxed and I think we all had a pretty good time.
My plan for the next few days is to just sleep and play video games. I have a few things to do but I can space it out between the unimportant things
Last exam tomorrow :D I worked that I need 9/60 marks to get a pass, so the 20/60 I expect as the maximum I can reach in this module as pretty approachable.
Given how disastrous this module and lecturer have been, no one is expecting anything good from this at all though. Hopefully it will go well enough, but it shouldn't knock my average off of a first anyway :D
Now to go get 6 hours sleep, as after my exam tomorrow we are having an end of exams, bon voyage [to me] shindig.
Penultimate exam done, went pretty well, overall I am happy with it.
Been trying to revise for my exam on Wednesday but I am completely exhausted and have no idea what my lecturer is actually going to put on it, I guess that is why we need her lecture tomorrow.
And now I am about to fall asleep so I am off to bed
Spent another fantastic day in the library. My mind has begun to rot from all this revision, and I am just super tired. Once these exams are over it is going to be so nice. Just not having to do anything for a few days will allow my brain to try and collate all the crap it has learned.
With each exam I have done I have pretty much retaught myself the module and then sat the exams. But with each new exam the knowledge from the previous one is still being retained. While that is useful in general, it means that there is so much crap swirling around my head now.
Anyway, I want to try and sleep because I need to get up for a 9:30AM exam :(
Today was a vaguely productive. I managed to get through 3 papers[-ish] while I spent a delightful Saturday cooped up in a library.
I've found pushing myself out there is generally a lot more productive but I'm going to have to bring a packed lunch out there tomorrow because I went to acquire food today and nowhere except the fast food place on campus was open so I was left with a disintegrated veggie burger. Bleh.
I also picked up caramel shortcake today which was probably a bad move as I will probably just live off that rather than real food.
3rd exam was today, 2 more left. The one today was one that I wasn't too comfortable with but I feel it went pretty well. I seem to have actually learnt how to retain knowledge during this exam period, which is not something I have been able to do before.
I tried to do some work this afternoon for my exam on Wednesday (which is going to be horrible because the lecturer is useless and the course is actually hard) but it just seemed to be pretty pointless without speaking to the lecturer corrected all the crap she has got wrong.
I'm going to camp out in the library tomorrow and Sunday so I can re-teach myself Fourier Analysis and Complex Analysis for my exam on Monday.
On a complete aside, I caught up with How I Met Your Mother and I hate the writers of that show, they are evil. I also started watching Awake which looks really promising, and Thor was a surprisingly good film. Just need to watch Captain America and then I am on for the Avengers film. Now to go and try and get some sleep and watch Season 3 of Community
