    Ok, I know a lot of people HATE MyMathLab but, seriously, why the hell does it say that every homework assignment for the entire semester is due THIS SUNDAY?!?

    Now, naturally you would think to just ask the professor to change it. The only problem is that the class did that already last week Wednesday. He said to go by what it says in the syllabus. The Syllabus says to go with what it says in MyMathLab. MyMathLab says that all of the homework for the entire semester is due THIS SUNDAY!

    It's like trying to deal with customer service when they give you the run around ... except it's college and in person. *facepalm*

    Finally bought my own laptop/replacement for my KO'd desktop/school computer.
    It's an Acer 7741G-6426. Tis pretty spiffy & shiny.
    Now all I need to do is learn how to NOT get a flash card stuck in the 5-in-1 card reader...again...and then comes the long process of installing my programs.

    So today was one hell of an adventure.
    So as some people know, Georgia had snow and you know if it snows in the south of the US, everyone panics, everything shuts down (schools, jobs, etc.,) and people no longer know how to drive and when to stay off the road.
    Me, I don't have that problem since my car has Front-Wheel Drive, as opposed to Rear-Wheel drive. That means the traction on MY car is in the back.

    So what's going on in this picture? Whelp, I decided to play good samaritan. One truck was stuck and I had just bought some sand to help melt ice & snow. I put some down around his wheel and got him unstuck. I locked my car door since there was a guy on the sidewalk and I had the mentality that "My spare key is ALWAYS in my wallet. Always!" So I go back to my car and open my wallet....and there's no spare key. Great, I've locked myself out of my own car while it's on the street.

    Now, I'm not one to believe in Karma that often but today, I did, and she loved me. Enter Cobb County PD. I waved him down and told him what happened and then we both turn around and watch a RW-Drive car get stuck on the ice. He helps him while back-up arrives to help the officer. Then the officer offers me a ride back to my house, which was only 1 block up the road, to get my spare key. One slight problem: his squad car is RW-Drive and he stopped on ice. Once he patted me down so that I could hop in the back of the car, we took the biggest detour in history to avoid all the icy roads to get back to my house. I got my key, we headed back, the DOT was shoveling out salt, I shook the officer's hand and thanked him and his partner and came home.

    Oh yeah, quite the adventure, of course, then I had to spread the sand I bought across the driveway. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to sit in the heat and try to regain the feeling in my face.

    My roflcopter goes soi soi soi soi.
    I wanted to get a better mid-air shot but I haven't been able to fully stabilize it yet. I think it's because I have a small USB drive taped under the nose to add extra weight so that it can propel forward with a bit more ease. The down side to that is that it doesn't hover in mid air while sitting still anymore. By time I managed this shot, the battery was already low. lol
