Berlin was awesome. Ljubljana je bila neverjetna lepa in hočem nazaj ZDAJ. Slovenščina je težka ampak mi je všeč. Brighton was also amazing, didn't want to leave there either.

I'm back in Glasgow now for a year to finish up this degree and learn Polish. Then... the world's my oyster!

I took this in March I think so it's far from up-to-date. But I quite like it nonetheless - it was originally for a chocolate review I did over at http://rawstudentscotland.blogspot.com but it's actually a good photo (I think) so I'm recycling it here.

Also I'm aware it's been about 6 months since I was last on here so time for a wee update I think!
Well, I live in Berlin now - don't ask - and in July I'm moving to Slovenia for a month to do a language course and stay with my "sister" Mateja in Ljubljana before heading back to Glasgow to hunt out a new place to live for the new semester starting on the 15th of September. I can't BELIEVE I'm starting my final year. Where have the last 4 years gone?! It's insane. Options were a bit thin on the ground this year but luckily I'm in Senior Honours now which means I only get one option per language along with the obligatory classes. So as far as I know this year I'm doing
Italian Translation, Writing in Italian, Spoken Italian, and Italian Resistance to Fascism as my option; and Spoken German, Written German (includes translation and writing) and beginner's Polish for German (seriously. It was that or Czech - there was also a course called German Mysticism which would have been cool but I really need as many good grades as I can get and I know I can do well at a beginner's language course).

So yeah, that's my news! I don't know if I'll be back on here again soon but it's nice to be up to date.

Hello! it's been a while. Uni is completely stressing me out just now but this is a photo from a flatwarming on Saturday.

Going clockwise from me, there's Alex, Monika, Danil, Peter, and Dan (not to be confused with Danny, whose flat we were in). We were potentially the only sober people at the party, all sat in one big vegan circle together. Stereotype much?

10pm. I hate Tuesdays: Writing in Italian, Italian oral, Re-evaluations: German Literature and Thought 1880-1935, hour long break, written German language. Home briefly, city centre (BUT via Grassroots for lucuma chocolate and raw raspberry cheezecake), staff training 6-8, home, food, and I have hours worth of work for the next couple of days left to do. Luckily I had maca twice today and lucuma earlier too so I probably can keep going for about 4 hours if needs be.

See the silver thingy beside my ear? My present to myself today. It's called a sideburn piercing, I used to have them by both ears but they rejected (my body doesn't seem to like surface piercings or microdermals, they always reject pretty quickly). I loooove piercings, I've had about a dozen of them over the years and including this new one, four remain today.

In other news, I've done NO studying at all this weekend. Thankfully I only seem to be sleeping about 5 or 6 hours a night these days since starting on the raw thing so I should be able to get a lot done today.
