The sky may look all nice and clear in that picture. Trust me it really wasn't...
Went to Stonehenge for the Summer Solstice celebrations in Salisbury. I have to admit, it wasn't as fun as it was last year and I thought it was rather saddening that most of the people/young people that were there didn't really come to appreciate the stones themselves, but rather as an excuse to get ridiculously pissed, do lots of drugs, dress like jailbait and litter everywhere. I'm not saying that ALL of them did it but the vast majority of young people I saw were doing so. It kind of ruined the whole thing for me.
I couldn't help but feel bad for the druids who class the Henge as a sacred place of worship just to watch it get violated by people who couldn't seem to care less. There would be a total uproar if people behaved this way within a Christian or Islamic holy ground so why is Pagan land an exception? But anyway, I did enjoy parts but the all nighter wasn't something I was used to and the lack of a raincoat meant I got very wet, but I dealt with it. Still I guess I'm glad I went, not quite sure how many people attended but I heard it wasn't as many as last year, most likely because of the weather.
Did you attend the Summer Solstice celebrations? What did you think about the people that came? And most importantly did you enjoy yourself?3 commentsJune 22nd, 2011

I like black & white pictures. I think they look pretty.
I forgot it was even Easter weekend til someone mentioned it. When you live with a Christian you never hear the end of it. "JESUS JESUS BLAH BLAH BLAH". Yeah yeah I fucking get it. He died on the cross to rid us of our sins. How that works I haven't a fucking clue! From what I have studied it wasn't even him that died anyway...
I dont see why people still celebrate Easter or Christmas when a lot of people don't practise religion, or believe in either God or Jesus. Everything is much too commercial these days, everything is about money and gifts and because of this people miss the real message behind these holidays. Easter seems to consist of fat fucks gorging themselves on chocolate. Don't eat too much, you might give yourself Diabaetes.
Maybe it's just me but I have no interest in it. And we shouldn't have holidays for humanity to show each other good will we should do it ALL the time.
Do you celebrate public holidays? If you do, do you actually believe in the stories behind them? Do you agree that people get too wrapped up in material things when it comes to these holidays and miss the deeper meaning? I'm curious about your opinions on the matter.5 commentsApril 26th, 2011

That's me when I was about 1-years-old. I'm 20 today. Time does go by so quickly.
Excuse the bad perm and ugly dress, that's my mothers fault. I had to suffer a lot of awful outfits, I'm not sure which was worse, the Christmas Jumper or the black and white stripey sailor dress. Parents can be evil when it comes to dressing their children. I feel sorry for that toddler that went to a fancy dress party dressed as a Lobster in a boiling pot. He didn't look too impressed.
I wish I could say that 19 years after that picture was taken that I still felt like that same little kid. Innocent with simple pleasures, oblivious to the way the world is. I can honestly say that I miss those days.
But enough depressiveness. As much as I am not excited at all about being a year closer to old-age and eventually death (if I even live that long) I did get a few items that brightened my day. A new purse (which I really need, keep loosing all my notes and change in my pockets), a rose (my favourite flower, pretty and nice smelling) and a fuzzy brown Teddy that I can't think of a name for. He's my favourite present so far. He gives good hugs! =)
I still have some more to come, clothes, money. Tbh the presents dont really bother me, they're nice but nothing beats spending it with friends and the people I care about. That's probably the best present of all.
What was the best birthday you can remember having? Your favourite present? Do birthdays still excite you or is it just another day to you?
I'm going to end this one with a quote because I'm feeling a bit...quotey today:
"When I turned two I was really anxious, because I’d doubled my age in a year. I thought, if this keeps up, by the time I’m five I’ll be 64"2 commentsApril 19th, 2011

Me & the gang in Finsbury park yesterday afternoon. ^
It's been a good weekend from what I can remember of it though I'm starting to think all these mash-up weekends away are starting to make me lose my grip on reality. I should probably take a break.
I thought I would do some self-exploration today rather than just sit on here watching Porn or Stalking Facebook (which is boring as fuck most of the time). Did a few random quizzes (a few of which I had done before) one in particular got me thinking today:
http://www.4degreez.com/misc/personality_disorder_test.mv
My results were:
Paranoid: High
Schizoid: Low
Schizotypal: High
Antisocial: Moderate
Borderline: Very High
Histrionic: Moderate
Narcissistic: Moderate
Avoidant: Very High
Dependent: High
Obsessive-Compulsive: High
I'd suggest you'd give it a go, it's fairly interesting, unless you think youd be offended by the results.
I've done this test about 3 - 4 times in the past six months and every time Borderline & Avoidant have been rated "Very High" with a few very slight differences in other sections.
If any of you do these kinds of tests do you take them seriously? Would that kind of result cause you to question your mental stability or would you just dismiss it as a silly game and nothing more?
Usually I ignore these kinds of thing, that was until today when I actually took the time to try and read about both conditions and was slightly concerned to find that I did seem to have a lot of the symptoms listed, especially recently.
So opinions? Is it worth getting checked out? Or should I just ignore it, move on with my life and hope that what that test told me doesn't turn out to be true?
For those of you that do not know what these conditions are:

At the parents house today. Have a bloody dentist appointment. Blargh.
This is the first Daily Booth pic I've snapped with my webcam! Normally I just use my phone but I have a PC with a webcam for once so I thought I'd seize the chance. Kind of bored at the minute so resorting to drinking lots of tea and eating bacon. I'm feeling a lot better than I did yesterday, no idea what happened there. I have a day where at least once a week I feel like utter shite. Is that normal?
Not really much on the agenda today as always. Brainstorming ideas for my friend Kelly's birthday canvas. Not quite sure what I'm going to do for it yet. I always think it's a lot better to make things for peoples birthdays than buy them things even if you do have the money. It just shows you've made the effort for the person. Anyone can walk into a shop and buy a bunch of flowers and some chocolates, it's not very personal and well...making things is just more fun and rather satisfying. For me anyway.
Do you prefer to make things for your friends/family instead of buying them? And if so then tell me something you've made. Maybe you'll give me some ideas. =]4 commentsApril 12th, 2011

Afternoon all.
Hope everyone had a good weekend. I know I did. Met up with some close friends in London, had a chill out in the park. It was good. Wish I was still there to be quite honest.
Waking up today has put a lot of things on my mind about my life in general, the choices I make and the things I do. I'm not really one for believing in destiny but I do think that when you're having a hard time a life it may mean the future is holding something good for you. But It just really REALLY pisses me off sometimes when you try to be the best person you can be but you meet arseholes that have everything that they could possibly want but they treat people like shit. It just makes me realise how unfair life can be sometimes, that being the better person doesn't really effect how you do in life and if you become sucessful. The good people are trodden on and the selfish and greedy prosper because they are willing to exploit the weak and vulnerable. This is one of the reasons why I don't believe in God or think if God does exist he couldn't give a crap about humanity because if he did he would give happiness to the people who bloody deserve it. Not scumbags.
I'm probably just ranting bollocks now because I'm annoyed, so I'm going to stop here and go and make myself a cup of tea...2 commentsApril 11th, 2011

Afternoon all! How’s everyone doing?
I’ve been watching Death Note today. Got the live action movie bought for me yesterday evening so I thought I’d catch up from where I left off with the anime cartoon. I have to say, it’s very addictive. I’ve heard mixed views on what the live action film is like but I suppose I’ll have to watch in and see won’t I.
I’m actually meant to be going to the Cinema tonight to watch ‘Unknown’ that new Liam Neeson film that is meant to be good but apparently not AS good as ‘Taken’ which I have to admit was a pretty awesome film. Never get bored of it.
So, have any of you seen ‘Unknown’ and if so what did you think of it?
It’ll be the first time I’ve been to the Cinema in quite a while, probably since the middle of last year? I used to go there often when my mother was a manager and watch movies for free. Staff discount on food (hotdog with mustard & ketchup ftw!) and I’d buy a half raspberry, half blueberry slush puppy. Beautiful! Maybe I’ll grab a pick and mix for the journey home.
Any of you guys got anything lined up for this evening?3 commentsApril 6th, 2011

Today has been pretty boring. So far I have had a cartoon of cranberry juice and some yogurt to eat which hasn't really done much for me. Need something meaty to sustain me! I should really go on a diet but I have no self discipline. I like to eat what I want when I want. I'm not the kind of girl that goes out for dinner and will only eat a salad and drink water. Screw that! I'll pile my plate up to the ceiling and buy a pint to go with it.
I love food! It makes me happy, especially home cooking. What is YOUR favourite food?
It's my birthday this year. I'm going to be 20. I remember back when I was 16 I would have killed to be this age and now that I'm here I don't know what the big deal was. I feel like I'm getting old too quickly. Never really know what to do for my birthday either. A bit fed up of sitting in pubs and I can't really afford to go clubbing. Could go out for a meal but I'd rather do something where I don't have to have loads of people sat around a table. Ideas would be much appreciated! ^_^5 commentsApril 5th, 2011
