2. Congress has 1 week to come up with a deficit reduction plan or "automatic" triggers will fire, cutting military, medicare, and multiple other area's of funding. Except they are introducing a bill to reverse these automatic triggers so they can do what they do best: NOTHING.
3. The freedom of the internet is at stake because of an act called SOPA which would allow entertainment corporations to sue/cut of funding/completely destroy websites with even 1 link from a single user to infringed copyrighted material. To put this in perspective: Flickr could be completely, permanently shut down because one user posted an image that someone else owns the right to.
4. Because of previously bribes, the only thing congress has been able to decide on is that PIZZA IS NOW CONSIDERED A FUCKING VEGETABLE. Lobbyists for frozen pizza companies and potato grows convinced congress to keep pizza and french fries in federally subsidized public school lunches and this statement was congress's response. Now we know what kind of power money has: it can turn pizza into a vegetable. Ironically enough, it is considered a vegetable because of the tomato paste on the pizza, but botanically speaking, tomatoes are a FUCKING FRUIT.
