I've had quite a busy day today!

Got up early as my car was being picked up by our mechanic for a tire change (£££) and to adjust the tracking (££). Helpfully he just told me that he'd pick it up "Wednesday morning" meaning i'd have to be up early!

Car was picked up/returned with new front tires/fixed tracking all for a mere £125 :(

Took my friend Hannah out to lunch at Chiquitos, as she's been craving mexican food for weeks!

Came home and bought/downloaded/installed OSX 10.7 Lion on my Macbook (*squee*)

Early start tomorrow - and i've got to wear my suit...
Can't say why right now though!

had lunch,
Seen the dinosaurs (at the museum)
Been on trains (they're like busses here)

Good afternoon!

It doesn't feel like afternoon as I slept in till about 1! (i've been working all week, and went out last night)

It was Dad's birthday yesterday, but as he was away on a residential trip with his school, we're having it today instead!

Thankfully his presents went down well - a tin of Beeswax (for wood finishing - he has a wood turning lathe) and the 2011 version of Family Tree Maker (he's been moaning that his 2005 copy isn't working well with Windows 7)

They went down rather well! *phew*

We're off for a meal later - probably the harvester again as the salad bar is unlimited and their mixed grill is HUGE (8oz steak, chicken breast, 4oz bacon steak, huge sausage, chips, and salad) and it's only £10!

Also testing out IrisApp to booth this - Allows you to booth right from your Mac's task bar (which means i'm more likely to booth now I have this too!) - It's £1.79 from the Mac App Store and i'm liking it so far!

Covering lunches at work today so don't start till 12.

Managed to allow way to much time to post a parcel, so I've ended up being 30 minutes early *facepalm*

I always over estimate how long something/a journey will take so always end up being early...
