All accessories had already come off. But I still felt pretty boring today. Our house is a total disaster right now, so none of my stuff is organized, AT ALL. Maybe that's why I'm kind of in a rut. But I NEED to figure it out. Everything in my life needs more organization. Clothing, kitchen, paperwork, sleep schedule, etc. etc.
Hmmph...wow. That was a big Ah Hah moment. If I don't get my shit straight around here, how can I even expect to be able to get into a routine of healthier habits? I can't cook myself decent stuff if the kitchen is a wreck. And I can't get decent ingredients if the fridge is jam-packed. I can't get up early to go to the gym if I stay up too late (playing Wow of course). And if my wardrobe isn't clean and organized, I couldn't even get it ready to take along to the gym if I tried.
I did have proper work attire on today. But my hubby had a yummy Mediterranean style dinner waiting when I got home. So he made me change right away, we ate, jumped in the new car to the walking trails to get a few miles in, and then cruised around with the top down listening to Journey & Bon Jovi. So while I can't say a whole lot about the picture, I really didn't care too much what I looked like. It was a very nice evening spent with my wonderful hubby.
Meh. That's about all I have to say today. I feel generally pretty crappy today so I think that's showing through. I could have tried harder to get a less blurry pic, but don't really have the energy.
Church this morning. For some reason, I think this looks wider in the pic than I actually feel wearing it. Maybe the skirt just isn't the best. Hmmmm....
Going to a 40th birthday party, so a little more dressed up than the shorts and t-shirt I proably would have worn today. I know y'all probably cannot see the make up, but I'm not so sure I like this combo of eye color. It's a very light sparkly green/silver, with dark purple contour color and plum eyeliner. I have blue eyes and have always tended to wear more browns, purples and pinks. Maybe it's just the lightness that I'm not used to.
And debuting, in the bottom right, Sidney the rescue Scottie. He joined our family a little over a year ago.
Work clothes came off immediately upon entering the house because the pants were a little snug. More motivation, I guess. One of my staple white t's and the crappiest pair of jeans I own because the awesome TJ-brand jeans are still damp (thank you hubby for doing laundry, though). Addition to the picture in the bottom right is Charlie, our 13 year old scottie. His little brother is pretty active, but maybe I'll get him in a pic at some point.
I am noticing that I think my picture smile is coming a little more naturally. If I can ever get it figured out, I'll have to request a new one for my company's website because the current picture is just horrid.
