    Coffee booth.

    Things have been going decently well lately. I have 6 (yes, I'm serious) jobs currently: Musician, cashier, graphic designer, drag queen, columnist, and now I make phone calls to businesses and try to get them to work with this new collections agency. Busy, non-stop.

    I don't know how I've found the time, but I'm auditioning for this show called Community Auditions (basically New England's American Idol), and The Voice in a span of two weeks. Hopefully one of those shows can boost me up a bit. That'd be just fine with me.

    Yeah, it's more expensive (and I'm a huge "buy local" asshole), but they give their employees full benefits at the point of hire, so I gotta support that. MAN there are a lot of homeless people in this Starbucks.

    Music is sort of at a standstill, even though I have a gig on the 20th with some Boston-based dance rock group called Young London. No gigs for Spencer until April, which gives me plenty of time to write and produce my EP. Stay tuned for tracks.

    About to board an airplane from Richmond, VA to Boston, MA. I wish I could have a little time to spend in Beantown, but I've gotta hop a bus back to Portland immediately after my flight. Balls.

    ...I swear to God, there are 400 children about to get on this plane, and I bet you anything they're gonna sit right near me. Thank heavens for headphones and "Deathproof". They'll be my only saviors.

    Hope everybody's holidays were great! This year I got to see everybody I love (with the exception of a few absentees), and my family actually listened to me on what I wanted! This guy is gonna have his sleeve outlined on Friday. I'll post a picture when I have one.

    Had a great hair day today. If the lighting were better, you'd be able to tell.

    Watching Ben Folds on The Sing-Off. He's incredible. I always forget how much I really fuckin' love his music.

    ...come to think of it, I have to break this habit I have of being obsessed with only one album by my favorite artists, and never really giving their other stuff much of a chance 'cause I doubt it'll live up to the one I know. That means I need to get my hands on more albums by Ben Folds. Yes, I'ma do that right now.

    Holy fuck, I don't know how I managed to stay awake for everything. Thank God for power naps.

    I pulled a 23-hour work day with only a half hour lunch break yesterday. I was delirious at a certain point and forced myself to stop and close my eyes for a few minutes. That's all I got. Now I'm rested, have been singing with a large group of different people all day. Musicians are taking over my social life, 'cause they become the only people I see day in, day out.

    Any other singers out there getting a lot of gigs?
