I spent the day being incredibly stupid with my friends and realised I'll never really grow up :P We got drunk and played on the swings at the local park, scared off some children, and then watched Beauty and the Beast...

So here's a shot of my boobs taken today by my lovely friend Fiona, while my other lovely friend Brett looked away in despair :P

Honestly I'm away from Dailybooth for 5 minutes and it goes and revamps itself entirely!

Hey boothers :)

As you probably have noticed, despite the number of times I've been saying I'll be good, I am increasingly bad at boothing these days. I guess being on placement is taking up more of my time than I thought it would. By the time I get to my room I have too much work to do, or are just too tired to booth and this means I'm neglecting you guys :(
(something I really don't like doing as you all mean lots to me! <3) So I am not going to promise I'll be a regular boother for a while, but what I will promise is that I will try to catch up with you guys whenever I can, and in the meantime why not just add me on facebook? I use that way more often :)

Also:
I'm losing followers by the truck load (lost about 30 in the last couple of months) but quite frankly if you're that fickle that you would unfollow someone because they have a life outside DB then good riddence. (I know that's not everyone but I've seen some fickle people on here so I know what goes on)
Mini-rant over.

I just saw 127 Hours and I was feeling rather inspired and thoughtful.
Absolutely amazing film, I highly recommend it!

Chilling in my room in Halifax making the most of the internet after the server was down last night!

Some people are so rude...
This evening i was walking up the escalator at bradford interchange when some guy in a rush for his train was running up like a madman. He knocked my over and as a result I jammed my knee into the sharp edge of the escalator. It's gouged out a fair bit of knee T_T definitely enough to warrant proper dressing, and ironically, despite being in a hospital, the only plasters available to buy are tiny and there's no first aid kit in the accommodation >.< may have to have a wander over to one of the wards and see if i can swindle some dressing pads of one of the nurses...
Worst thing is the guy didn't even say sorry!!

Hey guys!
I'm boothing from my accommodation at my placement in Halifax. It isn't too bad surprisingly! There's wifi and the rooms are a decent size, and in the common room there's a Sega megadrive with sonic the hedgehog for some glorious reason! Doctors know how to relax obviously :P
Only real downside is the shower rooms are vom inducingly smelly >.<
oh well can't have it all I guess!

Anyway off to wards now. will booth properly later!

2010: A SUMMARY

2010 has whizzed by and now it’s time to reflect on the time that has passed…
My 2010 hasn’t been the greatest of years but it’s not been all doom and gloom :)

So here’s what I’ve learnt over the last 365.25 days:
-Boys rock.
-Boys suck.
-British sign language is hilariously un-PC.
-Electricity companies are completely incompetent.
-Eyebrows are very important.
-Skeletons enjoy Christmas too.
-Hendrix can save a life.
-The Sound of Music is vastly overplayed.
-Family is overrated.
-Art is therapeutic.
-Doing work before the last minute can be beneficial.
-Everybody leaves one day.
-The internet helps make new friends…
-…and keep old ones <3
-Phlebotomists aren’t actually vampires
-Medicine was the right choice.
-Orthopaedic surgeons really are as simple as they’re made out to be.
-It's terrifying seeing the place you live being turned upside down for a murder investigation (Crossbow Cannibal, I'm looking at you!)
-Graduation is like being at Hogwarts.
-My friends are amazing.
-Music makes the world go round.
-Tumblr is addictive.
-You can learn lots from a drunk Irish neurosurgeon.
-Life can really be a bitch.
-It’ll be ok.

2010 was the year I joined this here community, and I shall never regret it! I've met some wonderful people here and hopefully 2011 will bring us meetings in the flesh! (@ThisGirlLovesIt I'm lookin at you Panda ;P)
And I tell you what, I think you guys have really helped keep me sane this year.
