I haven't posted in an extremely long time so... A few changes have happened, yes. I dyed the ends of my hair blue, I've been going to Uni for Photography (End of semester is soo close!) I'm going to China this summer, etc. etc....

Overwhelming sadness.. You so easily forget how expendable we are.

My friend's brother just died in a car accident a few days ago.
The news hit me like a blow to the head. At first I felt numb, unable to comprehend that something so terrible could happen.

The numbness has worn off and now I'm left with
the shattered remains of a horrid realization. Fighting off symptoms of depression, anxiety, fear..

I've recently started at a college in which I'm learning to become a photographer. My thinking now is... I'm preparing myself for a future. A future that I was all too certain I would have.

Now I realize I have no way of knowing if I'm going to have that future or not..

"You are perishable, Live accordingly."

It's about 1942.. There is a small sort of caliginous orchestra from an abandoned circus in a quite forgotten about part of France. They happen upon a weary, washed up concert hall chanter who had run into a bit of a bad luck. They decided that since they all share t...he same lot in life; they may as well write a few songs about it. As a result the music they produced was beautiful. They aren't ones for optimism, but the future isn't what this is about. It's about learning to love yourself, to let go of the past and be okay to just live in the present. The effect is much like having a perfectly proportioned cup of tea in a mug that your best friend gave you. This music is like that cup of tea, a cup of sanity of a very frantic world.

I broke his heart. He said he'd wait for me. I don't love him.
I tried so hard to, but I couldn't. I can't. I'm broken and afraid.
He doesn't know. I don't want him to know. I still don't understand what he thinks is so special about me anyways. I'm nothing. He could have anyone. He chose me. I never got the chance to ask him why..

And I got this hooded poncho from the state fair that I went to like..last week. I had so much freakin fun, even though we went during the day. I'd much rather go at night. When It's as if someone took the glitter ball and blew it into smithereens. When everyone seems to have forgotten everything that troubles them and just focuses on enjoying themselves. Going to the fair is like getting the "go ahead" to act like your five years old again and no one will condemn you for it.

Wow... it's been a while since I've actually sat down and painted something. I forgot how relaxing it is, especially with some Jonsi playing in the background. ^__^ I guess being sick isn't all that bad, but it hurts to sing. :/ Leaving me to resort to other creative outlets.
