    Big smiles, because it's time for a life update! YAY!

    Life update #1 - I chopped off most of my hair. I can hardly put it up into a ponytail or a braid or anything now. The back just kinda falls out and then I look like I've got some sort of mullet thing happening...

    Life update #2 - After being unemployed for approx. 3 months, I officially have a new job serving at a restaurant. (I don't know how I lived without tips for so long. It's like money magically appears in my wallet after every shift.)

    Life update #3 - I started re-watching Boy Meets World, because who doesn't want some teen angst in their life?

    And that's about all I have to report on.
    The Cassie life update is now complete.

    I also got a job at Chapters. Thank goodness. So much better then my last job. Yet I still kinda miss the girls from my old work. Weird how that happened. Hated the job, but the people there kind of grow on you.

    Today I bought a winter jacket that I'm not sure if I'm going to keep or not.

    2 people at the mall today told me "you have beautiful hair".
    it was very nice of them to say so.

    I need to think up the perfect Christmas gift for the boy, but am having great difficulties. any ideas? he got me an awesome fraggle rock lunch box for my birthday and so i want to get him something equally as awesome. this is proving to be quite difficult. so far all ive found is a pocket switchblade comb (like from the movie Grease). I think it's hilarious, but it's only 2$. I feel I need something more.

    I'm also slightly homesick, but that's okay. the mom and sister are coming down this weekend so hopefully I'll get to actually see them.

    And that's my life right now. ish. there's probs more but it's 2am and I should go to sleep.
    Just thought I'd update.

    Happy Halloween!

    I just finished watching Ghostbusters for the first time ever (I know, I know. Shame on me for waiting this long to see it.)
    And I've been handing out candy to little kids all night (there actually hasn't been that many kids, but the ones that have stopped by are super cute. So far there have been 2 giraffes, which is frankly just a huge win in my books.)

    So team, time to let you in on a project that I've started.
    It is called PhotosFromLastNight.
    Here's what it is:
    There is a website called Texts From Last Night where people anonymously post up their text messages from the night before (the only identifying characteristic is that the area code is shown so that people know where the text is coming from)
    I have decided to take (some) of those texts and visualize them into actual photographs using film photography.

    The above picture is an example of what I'm talking about.
    This is a school project, but I would love to keep it going and to add some sort of interactive level to it. If you have any suggestions as to how I could make it interactive I'd love to hear your ideas.

    Hittin' up a Mad Men themed party later tonight.

    I don't know if I should wear this dress or not.
    It's up for debate against a green one I have.
    I feel like I'm probs gonna change before I head out.

    But this is all trivial stuff that no one but me really cares about.
    The dress stuff that is.

    I'm gonna make food and stop typing nonsense now.
