I'm not sure whether I entirely agree with this. As much as parts of the gay community do seem to be more aggressive when it comes to youth, I don't think it's fair to really identify it as being localised, let alone a phenomenon - the sexualization of younger and younger kids is neither. Let's face it: adolescence and burgeoning sexuality are being met with what it often unfettered internet access, coupled with lax guidance from unknowing guardians. As much as they shouldn't be here, it's not a minor putting revealing pics up that leads to commodification, when commodification is already society-wide. Inappropriate DB pics are a very minor symptom of a much bigger problem - and a problem that is far from being queer specific.
The 'put some clothing on and live out your childhood' response also seems misplaced to me, as it skips over the bit where kids ARE sexual: something our education systems/parents/media narratives tend to be neglectful of. Focusing on everyone else and trying to prevent these things on the site is great, but that particular phrasing seems rather unhelpful.
