    Things:
    + Settled on the Razr (had my mind on it since being turned off the Droid 3/4) after hearing from friends, as well as paying another visit to Verizon to see if the sales rep could sell me on the iPhone and the Razr. XD
    + Picked up an AC to DC adapter for the TARDIS. No worries about batteries now.
    + Smooth office hours. Few calls, few people to get back to, good music in the mail today.
    + Both pecan pies turned out well, from what I can tell. Haven't cut into the microwaved one (left), but there's a quarter of the baked pie (right) left.
    - Department meeting was off to a good but slightly harried start before it was interrupted with the news of the station grandpa's sudden passing. We've all been dealing and grieving and coping and crying a bit and eating chocolate and talking. If there's one thing that is ... nice about death is how uniting it can be.

    Things:
    - Kinda snowed in, but it wasn't really an issue. Probably half an inch of accumulation, if not a little more or less.
    - Ryan made pork in a cranberry-taco sauce sauce with craisins and brown sugar in the slow cooker with rice on the side, which all turned out wonderfully. I prepped a few things for the pecan pies tomorrow.
    - Made significant progress in "Catch-22". 5 more chapters to be up to the goal for discussion on Tuesday, but I want to try and make it nine or ten chapters past that by Tuesday to be safe.
    - Doing a late wash while mulling over the Droid Razr vs. iPhone 4S, as suggested by my mom on the phone earlier. Asked around and I've heard some for the iPhone and some for the Droid, but battery life aside, I like the plethora of free apps, the removable memory, and the customizability, but I'm going to swing into Verizon tomorrow to see what the salesperson can sell me better. XD
    - As for the party last night, it was pretty fun. We watched "Serenity", "While You Were Sleeping", and "Thor". There was pizza, cookie cake, homemade ice cream, and all around good times and good people.

    - Stopped into the station to check on things.
    - Stopped by Verizon to try out the phones they have.
    - Went on a grocery run, so I've got things for chocolate pecan pie.
    - Off to a belated birthday party thing.

    Things:
    - Made it over to the nearby dental place, filled out paperwork, and made an appointment to get what's irritating me looked at, but I cancelled it after talking things over with mom. Gargling has been helping.
    - Spent a good deal (8 and a halfish hours or thereabouts) working with music things at the station (listening to next week's adds, labelling CDs, going over CDs to categorize and label them according to the record library, and adding them to the record library). Tiring, but still a feeling of accomplishment.
    - Late dinner, followed by Fringe, followed by tackling most of the dish monster that was in the sinks. Still got the pots and pans.
    - I'm thinking an early bedtime, but maybe with some reading before.

    New book. Well, not new new, but started it today.

    Things:
    - The job/internship fair was alright. Mostly stuff for business/engineering students, so I walked around to a handful of the "We accept all majors!" tables, chatted, got handouts, put my resume in the pot ... better than nothing. *shrugs*
    - Classes overall went well. Good discussion on the end of "Huck Finn", the start of "Clockwork Orange", and we watched "Double Indemnity", which was pretty good.
    - Excited because a Garfunkel and Oates EP arrived in the mail today, among other things. ^_^ #HappyWhenWebAndRealLifeMeet #LikeDriftlessPonyClubPlayingOnCampusInAWeek

    Things:
    - Good first show of the semester. Playlist is up on the Tumblr and whatnot. Hung around the station and caught up/chatted station stuff with peoples. Kim's Thinkgeek package arrived, which included a beating anatomically correct plush heart for her boyfriend, so she was showing the whole station. ^_^
    - Gotta finish up "Huck Finn".
    - Printed up a handful of resumés for the job/internship career fair on campus tomorrow. I'm not too excited for it, mainly because of the companies listed as looking for "All Majors", none interest me. None are media/communications related. There are 2 education-y ones, but I dunno ... otherwise, it's probably PR/paperwork stuff ... I dunno. We'll see how it goes.
    - But I AM excited for Driftless Pony Club in a little over a week. ^_^
    - And speaking of DPC, I've got a new vlog up. http://bit.ly/zqDUYp

    - First column of the semester was published today.
    - Got my radio show scheduled. 2:30 PM Eastern tomorrow. Also set up a Tumblr for it, which I'll publish playlists, etc. to. Taking requests ... and I might read a bit of Dickens as a belated birthday thing.
    - Classes were pretty good.

    Things:
    - Spent a good deal of the afternoon down in the station going through musics, but started on going through next week's stack of CDs.
    - Got a wash done. The feeling of clean warm laundry is so good, especially when you're slipping into a warm shirt or jeans.
    - Got my show slot. I'll let you all know tomorrow when things are set in stone. But I'm excited (albeit a little sad) for my final semester with a show. And I'm taking requests now. XD
    - Interesting episode of "Alcatraz" ... preceded earlier by Jeopardy. I should watch it more often.

    Things:
    - Overall, a good day.
    - The Atlas Sound concert last night was ... interesting, to say the least. A good deal of talking and rambling ... I left probably an hour before it ended because I didn't want to wait until 1 to get the next shuttle after midnight up.
    - Got started on my column at the concert and finished up a reading for Youth and Subculture.
    - Finished the column this morning/afternoon and sent it in before going over to Leah's to make quiche with her, Evan, and the two Carl/Karls. We also played some Pirate Fluxx and Rummy. Read 2 Batman collections there too. XD
    - Kinda watched the Super Bowl, but mainly watched the commercials. Kinda watched the Halftime show too, but I'm not big on Madonna. Anyone have a favorite commercial? The Volkswagen, Doritos, Metlife, and Coca Cola ads were amusing/cute, and the Best Buy ad was cool.
    - Alright episode of "Luck", but I dozed a little. XP
    - Making progress on Huck Finn. Woo!

    Things:
    - Slow day at the apartment.
    - Tried to make chocolate waffles, but they were coming out of the waffle maker section by section in pieces. Still tasted good.
    - Flushed the fishy and recorded a video. Should have it up mid-week.
    - Off to set up for and see Atlas Sound.
