I dug out my clarinet, again, today. I'm trying to reconnect with my musical past as a "band nerd." I miss band, and should have kept active in my music education- I chose my art education instead.

You can't tell in the picture, but I'm actually wearing my clarinet section marching band shirt from the summer of 2007 "Herd Patrol."
I was in band for 8 years, marching band 3 years, private lessons for 7 years in Harmony Woodwind Ensemble with my private lesson teacher. Band has taken me around the world, literally. I was a member of The Minnesota Ambassadors of Music in 2006 and went to 7 countries in Europe! Marching band has also taken me to Canada and around the us. I lettered in Marching band and was also in Tri-M and was awarded the Master Musician award. I miss band... I should have stayed active in music. :P *TOTAL BAND NERD MOMENT*
