DAILYBOOTH

Lately, I have been very unreliable on these long blurbs that you all love so much.
Or at least a few of you. I'm totally sure my obnoxiously long blurbs can be so terrible for some of you.
Like...
"Oh, hey. I'm kind of shallow and don't really care what he is talking about. Just going to look at him."
or
"lawl, I'm a bro. Diz kid iz faggot. He needz hurcut."

bryce.

LOLOLBBQ.

ps. he has a huge nose.

Either way, today was a pretty good day. Well, it wasn't that good at all, it was okay for a monday though. Really easy, had a math test that I think I did decent on(Cish), and kind of just shmoozed through the day.

I practiced the song "Anyone Else But You" with my friend today in the parking lot.
It was the first time we played it. In my opinion, I think it went alright. We can make it better, most definitely.

but anyways, what I am most proud of today is the fact that I came home and made this CD for my friend.
Honestly?
I think it's the most beautiful CD ever.

It goes a little sum sum lyke diz.

It's 100% hiphop, and if you're black you'll love it. I promise.
Racism, sorry.
I am totally kidding. <3

I was like "Yo... he made a mix of all biggie smalls and lil'wayne, I know it,"

& then I saw Architecture in Helsinki and I was like "Boyyyy, you a player"
(talking like I'm from the hood whilst being the whitest most suburban + awkward kid ever = good times)

    Mix CDs are love.

My friend Liam made me one of all music that is just like pure energy or pure love (which is like a combo of Punk - like legit Punk, Ska, Gangsta Rap, and Pete Doherty because he has a man crush on him)

& it came with this letter (there is no parenthesis used in this letter so that'll all be my side notes):

    Dear Emily,
I was going to make you a beautiful collection of music using the most beautiful pieces of music I had every felt, but I decided enough was enough. Emily, it's time for you to ROCK THE 40 OZ (by Leftover Crack who are a really really anarchist, fuck the system type Punk band). Turn off your Tokyo Police Club(I once told Liam of my plans to marry the lead singer. Yush), kick the lead singer of The Superfantastics (again another indie-ish, band that is super cute that I love) in the face, and flail wildly at your enemies. You need Liam Welch's "Hate to say, I'm gonna break your face" (I'll Break Your Face by The Heatskores)
This CD could explode most CD players due to the amount of RAW POWER that is on it. This CD is so INTENSE that when I was staring at the playlist infront of me, it literally burned the image of Lil Wayne eating a star on my retinas (Upgrade U lyrics). I couldn't sleep for FOUR days because of it. In fact, I became so sleep deprived due to the production of the CD which in turn burnt my retinas that I went downtown, flipped a Smart Car into the river and began to bellow "I'M A TEENAGER FROM OUTSPACE BLEHHHHH" (The Meteors song)
This CD is going to Upgrade You. Emily, you may not be a model, but this CD could front page you. This CD is the reason I don't car, but at the same time feel the world in violent proportions. This CD has a song called Amoeba on in, and the chorus of that song is the word Amoeba screamed over and over again. This CD also ends with a really precious song by Pete Doherty that I really like, it's that song for me right now that you could listen to twenty times in a row and just not get sick of, but then one day you wake yon and you just don't feel like listening to it. This CD has INTERZONE on it. THAT SONG IS WICKED AWESOME. This CD makes you see read like Bald White People from Georgetown. THIS CD HAS A SEA SHANTY ON IT. THIS CD TRIES TO DESCRIBE THE GENERATION WE BELONG TO(Blank Generation by Richard Hell and the Voidoids). NOTORIOUS B.I.G. is on this CD, that FREAKY FREAKY FRESH! LIL WAYNE SAYS "R.I.P. APOLLO CREED" ON THIS CD, WHAT A CRAZY ASS REFERENCE TO ROCKY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

THIS CD IS FOR YOU EMILY!!!! HORRAY! LET IT WASH OVER YOU LIKE COLD WATER!

BY the way, if you ever play this CD for someone and they don't appreciate the energy with which it was made, or the energy behind the music or energy in general, just...

    FREAK OUT!
    (end letter)
This kid also plays classical guitar(and is going to go to University for it), loves bands like Stars and Metric and longboards.
Probably one of the coolest kids I know.

That CD was pretty much made for me to branch out into other Genras other than Alt-rock and Indie

Favourite bands (that I'd recommend) I'd say are: The Most Serene Republic, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Blur, Oasis, Mother Mother, Stars, The Weakerthans, Wintersleep, 54-40, Sloan, The Superfantastics, Tokyo Police Club, Matthew Good, Matthew Good Band, Radiohead(l King Crimson, Born Ruffians, Spiral Beach, and I do love me some Leftover Crack.

    Seriously magical.

Upgrade You - Lil Wayne (btw, Liam calls him "Little Wayne" and he once saw a poster of him while I was buying a CD and was like "EMILY I HAVE TO SHOW YOU SOMETHING WHEN YOU'RE DONE!" and he was like "I... need... that" reasoning for his love "Little Wayne has 'Fear God' tattooed on his eyelids. He was born to rap,")

    Seeing Red - Minor Threat
Seven Deadly Sins - The Libertines (Sea Shanty)
Kill the Poor - Dead Kennedys
I'll Break Your Face - The Heatskores (Toronto SKA band that broke up, idk if you can find that stuff like anywhere outside of Southern Ontario... it's on their myspace though)
    Party & Bullshit - Notorious B I G
Teenagers from Outer Space - The Meteors
    The Crowd - Operation Ivy
Blank Generation - Richard Hell & The Voidoids
    Friction - Television

@brandonbop My friends stick to the generic shit they play on the radio. It's not bad music, but it's so... old. :(

Any that you haven't heard of?

    @heidihaaberg Yessir. They're so good.
