I went down to work earlier to ask when they want me back, seeing as their main services don't start until the end of March. I don't know why, but I had a random subconscious worry that they wouldn't want me back. I was thankfully wrong. Lol, I walked in and the manager greeted me with "BLAAAAAKE how is everythiiiiing? Take a seat, let's have a chat".
It was good to go back. I missed everyone there. I start in again in March I think.
My rents are actually away on holiday so I've been livin' on my own for a little. Got it down to a tee, if I do say so myself ;) In fact, I'm about to go unload some laundry. I'm gonna catch up on more comments later, I promise.
And, to those I am yet to respond to emails... I promise you, they are coming. They're in my drafts. I hope they're worth the irritating wait I've made you endure. My sincerest apologies.

I kid. It's only recently got so flicky though. It's how I know it's too long. That, and the fact it obscures one eye when I come out of the shower. Reading is a pain, through a curtain of black.
Twas my birthday last Sunday! Dad and I went for a drive in my car. Lol, my first time properly on the road... and I was taken on roundabouts, really hard junctions, hill starts, drove behind a cop, had an ambulance and a bus oncoming around roadworks... So, I guess I had a little dose of experience. Oh, and the top of my gearstick snapped off. The previous owner (who my family know, and is genuinely a nice guy), thought it fun to replace it with a pimped-out metal top. Which is great - but it wasn't fixed on properly, aaaaand it snapped. It was still drivable, though! Got a new gearstick (from the actual car manufacturer this time), this week. So it's all good!
I've been chronically exhausted for weeks now. Found out why, had some blood tests. I have a virus which is holding my body hostage and will continue to do so for the next 4-6 weeks. So (speaks to body) Mr Virus, if you can hear me... I hope you're having fun. It's one of those when-you-wake-up-you-feel-dead-and-want-to-sleep-again-forever viruses. But, at least I know what it is now. I had all sorts of ideas of what it might be going through my head because I panic. Why wouldn't you panic when basically every lymph gland in your body is swollen and painful... ;)

Guuuuuys my dashboard is still broken. Tis one of the reasons I haven't been on in a little while.
I've become Dance-y McDancerton. I do so much dance at college and it's addictive. Good for the body though, providing you do all the warm ups and cool down and everything, so (shrugs) what harm can it do, really?
There's a new silent movie coming out here in the UK. I'm not sure where else it may be out, but does anybody know the movie I'm referring to? I'd love to know the name. I want to go and see it, it'd be a really interesting thing to watch. Old fashioned... traditional. I exclaimed while at home how much I wanted to see it, and my Dad replied with "What makes you want to watch it?" I didn't really know what to say, it just seems cool. I shrugged and smiled and that was the end of that.
How is everybody!? Brr. (goes and dives next to the radiator). It's cold lately.

Today, I had another eye test. They are ever so slightly marginally worse than last year, but not much different at all. (Optician estimated about a 0.97% deterioration lol, so not even a percent). But, either way I bought new glasses which will be ready next week! It was a toss up between a nerdy pair and a nerdy pair that were slightly more suited to my face shape, so I went for those. Don't wanna walk around looking out of place now, do I? :j
Sorry I haven't replied to mentions and whatnots lately! I will go through and manually catch up with everybody soon, so so sorry! My dashboard is broken too, so, basically I'm blind on Dailybooth.

Every day is a gift. It is such a gift. I watched a video a couple days ago over on deviantART, that I found in my message centre and I was completely inspired by it. I'll paste a link later in the blurb for those of you who want to see it.
What is said is so completely true. We have so much to be thankful for. We have so much in life that we take for granted, and I don't just mean technology and things such as these that we take for granted. I mean the natural things. The things we find in nature, fog rolling over hills, the ability to see and read and write, the ability to see in colour even if colour-blind, the ability to travel and see different sights, to see different animals roaming about different cultures, to see smiles painted on peoples faces even when people believe their lives must be difficult - yet they summon the strength to smile - the beauty of having children and raising them as yours, the wonder of wanting to stroll to a beach as opposed to going out and getting drunk because the view of a sea stretching in to the wilderness seems so much more appealing. How flowers look completely different under ultraviolet rays.
People interacting in shops, passing and communicating in ways that we wouldn't even recognise but we just know as signs of communication; gesture, how a person breathes, sighs, expresses through their eyebrows, written letters and handwriting in ink, squirrels running on a quest to find an acorn, the different stories that authors create for us to immerse ourselves in, the sound of a piano, how everything can be made in to art. Everything is a form of art. Animals having different rituals to communicate something to another, some people being vegetarians, some eating a lot of meat, some devoting their life to a faith because they trust and believe in that so much and it makes them so strong, how, yes there is a lot of hurt, but there is a lot of recovery and perseverance in life.
Every day is given to us to live. Given to us to make an impact or some form of difference to ourselves as well as to others.

I'm applying for a job at Costa tomorrow! (It's a coffee shop, like Starbucks, though, obviously, everyone would think Starbucks is better, because it is. C'mooooon, you can't really compete with them. I mean, even if a place was 10x better, nobody would admit it because of its status, if that makes sense). So, wish me luck? I don't know if I'll need it, not because I think I'll get it, but because I have no idea if they're hiring :O S'gonna be a whole game o' luck.
Why do they bother putting "If you can't read this email..." in emails? Isn't that a little ironic?
I also gave my dog a bath today. She went all fluffeh. Does anyone else think that, when they're bathing their dog, they look slightly like a lamb, or a sheep? When their fur is flattened? No? Just me? (grins)

Guuuuuuuys. I woke up today, my knee was in agony, the vibrate on my phone was intermittently being intermittent, the wind was raging outside and I had to go out in it (plus the multi-million thrashing raindrops), and my lecturer was off sick at college. If my knee isn't sorted out by Friday I have to see some physiotherapist type person, or maybe just a doctor, who really knows these days, they all seem to tell you the same thing.
You might be wondering how I damaged this appendage. Well, if I'm honest, I have no idea. Don't you find mystery injuries baffling?
To sort my phone out I had to download an app for my phone which forces it to vibrate constantly until the motor un-sticks. I looked at the reviews of this app to see if it worked, most of them said yes. However one woman said, and I quote, "it makes a good vibrator." ... I thought Apple were meant to moderate these reviews? Still, I did laugh, mainly from the unexpected-ness. Also, I found shaking your phone like a crazy person (never mind if it's in public) works, too. In fact, that probably helped moreso.
I was expecting to get loads of coursework-homework today, but I didn't, I guess that's good! That new dance course starts tomorrow though. My participation will be limited, mind, seeing as I have a faulty knee.
My dad gets faulty knees too.
So does my brother.
Although I think mine is a result of wearing incorrect footwear for running. I may as well be a physiotherapist for myself.
I have to go walk my dog, in the rain, again. Leave me happy comments to return to? I'm, as much as you might disbelieve, not actually sad. I find it all hilarious. It's better to laugh at yourself than to cry. Although I just discovered my Dailybooth dashboard is broken again.

I have a webcam now. And, I have to tell you, my life is now complete. I can actually do functions I could not before, I can booth via the webcam, I can FaceTime on the Mac, I can actually use Photo Booth on the Mac, I can now video call people if I want to and not seem lame in feeling like I'm the only one who didn't have one. Lol
It's 2012! I don't really believe it. I mean, I do, I don't mean that in the ridiculous "I-am-a-conspiracy-theorist-and-2012-doesn't-exist" kind of way, just... 2011 went so fast. In many ways I'm glad it's gone. It wasn't fantastic, especially the first half. But, then it went perfect. So I'm torn, literally half-and-half. Meh, time for a new year!
Sorry I haven't been on since Christmas, I think I'm all caught up with replies and everything. (feels accomplished). So, #Q What're your goals for this year, and do you have anything big happening? ..
..I mean, you know, minus the world ending. ;)
Went shopping the other day, got more pyjamas ^__^ I'm clearing out loads of old stuff, I'm not necessarily replacing a lot, just throwing out stuff. If that makes sense.
Today is going to be productive. (eyes dart around the room) Okay. So I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet, but, I will. Mark my words. :)

Going grocery shopping with Dad in a few, gonna get some of those awkward photo-booth-photos done for my drivers license. Hope I'm looking okay... It'd be nice if I was pulled over for the police officer to be wow'd by my personal charm and beauty. Haha, I kid.
#Q What was your most awkward photo-booth experience? One once told me I needed to look in to the camera and smile. So I smiled. It then told me to not smile, as that was against the law for passport photos. Apparently it thought I wanted a casual photo taken first, before my passport ones. Go figure.

Okay, I think it's time I let you in on my little secret now. I've been around for so long you've probably all guessed it anyway. It's not exactly going to come as a shock to you, in fact you've probably been thinking it the entire time you've known me. Yes. I am Santa Claus.
Yes, it is me who eats your cookies and mince pies, and it is I that drinks all of the milk that you leave me. But, no it isn't me that eats the carrots. I give those to Rudolph because they don't contain enough calories for my enjoyment. The elves that work for me? They're real. Except they're not elves. They're giants. I just told you they were elves because then you'd think they're cute, and maybe then you'd want to write to me. Giants can be cute too. Think of Grawp from Harry Potter.
Now, children, I probably won't get chance to booth before Christmas this year, as I will be off... y'know. (Whispers) Delivering your presents. I hope you've been nice this year. I'll comment though, because my sleigh has a Dailybooth app and that means I'll be able to spy on you.
