It snowed pretty heavily (well for the UK) last week, and I was lucky enough to be out in town with my camera for most of it. Got some cracking shots of the city walls and of York Minster (the cathedral, shown above) as it was falling.

I went out with my Uni mates last night, a sort of "last hurrah" before we all go home for the holidays. It was a winter/Christmas theme, so plenty of reindeer; elves; Fathers Christmas ect. I went as a present (had a cardboard box on, a bow and everything)! Was a brilliant night, although did find it a little tricky to hold a drink with my arms pinned in a box, ha ha!

Decided to go out and brave the elements to do some Crimbo shopping, since I hadn't even started. Aimed to get three people's gifts sorted, and only managed one. =/ But I did manage to get some wrapping paper and tape, which I did need, so it wasn't a complete failure. =D Or at least, that's my story and I'm sticking to it, ha ha! >,<
Now I'm writing Christmas cards, like a boss. Eight down, twelve more to go. Wish me luck. =P

Just come back from a pub quiz, where my team did dismally. On the upside, however, we won best team name for "What do you call an Eskimo's house without a toilet? An Ig!" (it was a winter theme, and I didn't pick it =P). Got a case of 'Frost Jack's" cider (beggars can't be choosers) and a box of cookies, which I'm currently demolishing. Om nom nom. =P
