Who else loves Christmas? For me, it truly is a time of year when my spirit rejoices.
I hate the phrase "Remember the reason for the season." Thus I will not use it.
During the season of Christmas, we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ... But for me, this is also a time to look forward in the Hope that He is returning; not in the most impoverished and innocent of ways, but with glory and majesty abounding.
"The hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light."
"Remember the reason for the season" couldn't even attempt to to understand what this means.
