    Homecoming was last night. I'll put up a photo soon - Ben and I went as Micachu. It was a pretty rad day. I met Andrea and Ben at West Fest and we saw The Manichean and The Young Mammals, both of which were awesome. Saw my ex at the Manichean show and skillfully pretended not to notice him. Phew.

    Today My parents and I went to go see a one-man Mark Twain play, which was so great. I really want to be on a steamboat on the Mississippi, right now.

    Ben and I have a surprise in store for tomorrow. Details later.

    I'm starting this tonight. Good fiction is what I need right now.
    TOK class today made me want to scream and cry. I did cry, actually, though I restrained myself from screaming. I just want people to be EXCITED about the fact that we could get our minds totally blown up and put back together then blown up again in this class! There is so much potential...
    I think we might have reached a turning point today, though. At least I hope.
    Learning is so good, everybody.

    See that? That's a baby rattle snake. Embedded in the top of a cane. It is mine. I feel pride and joy.
    This weekend I went to @GardenOfEros puppet show (which was incredible), hung out with Ben, Dorian, Madeline, Chris M, and aforementioned puppeteer at various times during the day, then went to Ren Fair with Jen on Sunday, where I purchased this beauty. Talk about money well spent.

    I finally got a decent desk light, so maybe my photos will start looking a little less crappy. After this really mediocre one.
    Adventures tomorrow! Excitement abounds. I have promised myself that I am going to begin photographing again, because I have had quite a lapse and I really miss it.
    I don't know when I'm going to have time to do my homework this weekend. I should have today, but instead I went shopping and made stuff. I dislike how fast time moves.

    I'm happy as something really happy. No school tomorrow. My friend Stan is coming to town from New Mexico for the weekend. Ben and I are going to have a day full of art and culture on Saturday. I got an e-mail back from the guy at Space City Rock, and he wants me to start reviewing albums for them. Once I get a few low-level tasks done and they realize how astounding of a writer I am, I can start getting priority stuff! I'll keep you updated.

    TOK paper due tomorrow. Ak.

    This weekend was great. On Saturday I re-shaved Ben's mohawk, and we sat in my front yard with various instruments and were loud and Appalachian and silly. We later sang Bad Kids acca pella in front of HITS with Ciaran. At Clara's house we did shameful things to our hair.

    @mustachemadness halloween party was rockin. Played some tunes, watched some silly movies and ate lots of chocolate. Awoke to the most domestic scene of Ben turning an alarm off and grumbling like a hungover middle-aged man. It was both cute and a little disgusting.
