    Hi there.

    I'm tired today. Today was the 2nd party in my classroom this week. We had a birthday, we had a birthday today, and tomorrow we are having our Valentine's Day celebration. We didn't have the party today so we could completely honor and celebrate the birthday boy, and not have him combined into another holiday. I had some parents that thought it was silly, but I stand by my decision. The kids seem okay with it, why aren't the parents?

    I'm just tired in general I think. It's been a week full of sugar packed treats and so much excitement and I'm already shutting down and it's only Tuesday!

    I'm looking forward to this coming three day weekend.

    I think yawning is weird. I understand that we do it because we need more oxygen in our brain. Can't our brain just tell us to take a deep breathe instead?

    Today was a pretty good day. One of my students turned 5, so we had a little birthday celebration complete with rainbow cupcakes...right before naptime. Ugh. The kids had quite of a sugar rush and took about a half hour to fall asleep today.

    We also decorated bags for our Valentine's cards today. Remember how much fun Valentine's Day was as a kid? You got to pass out cards, get a bunch of cards for your own, eat a bunch of candy, and not have to worry about things like relationships and being single/taken, and it being a big freaking deal. You just showed your love for your school family and had fun doing it. I can't wait to celebrate for the first time with my own class. It's going to be a blast.

    It snowed today. We're supposed to have two inches by tomorrow. Not really bad, but I actually forgot that it was winter the weather has been so mild. The snow kind of shattered that reality for me.

    The nursery this morning was packed with babies including a new baby who has the brightest red hair I've ever seen. Super cute.

    Tiny babies make me want a baby. That damn biological clock.

    Have a trashy picture today. Since I haven't boothed in over two days, I figured this was appropriate, haha.

    Wet Hair. Wife Beater.

    I'm being lazy today. It's almost 2:00 p.m and I just now showered. I love Saturdays.

    If I ever talk myself into drying my hair, I need to head to the post office and mail some things off. I have postcards I need to send off, and for some reason they are all going abroad, so I can't just use a normal stamp and put them in the mailbox. Too bad. That would give me even more reason to be lazy.

    I suppose I should actually get myself going now. I have a Spanish lesson to complete too. I'm getting much better at my Spanish speaking!

    Hey there!

    Today was an overall good day. I got to come into work late today and I didn't have to get there until 10:00. I got to sleep in, so that was nice.

    The kids had a pretty good day. We were good all more and most of the afternoon. However, when it got to be about 4:45 p.m, the class went kind of crazy and started to beat up on each other and throw some major temper tantrums. I'm glad the day is over.

    I'm exhausted. I will be going to bed even earlier tonight that I did last night. There has to be a way to knock out this tiredness.

    Maybe I just need to buy some adderal. Haha.

    New work shirt! This is one of three of them that I got. I now have a pink shirt, a purple shirt, and a medium blue shirt. Yay!

    Seriously, I get excited about new work shirts. I don't have to wear the same colors all the time anymore.

    I spent $5 on a scratch off lottery card tonight and won $10. Heck yes profit! Gotta love it. I'll probably take it in tomorrow to collect my money...and then maybe buy another card. At least I won't be losing any money?

    I think it may be time for a haircut soon. I like it long, but it's getting a little scraggly and split-endy.

    Today was a pretty decent Monday. The kiddos are usually pretty wild on Mondays after a weekend at home, but today was pretty good. We had a few wild and crazy moments, but for the most part, we all had pretty good behavior, including me. I'm not feeling the best health-wise and I had to actively try not be grouchy with the kids.

    I should start the process of writing letters to my sponsored children. I send them a new letter every two weeks. Usually, as soon as I mail one round of letters off, I start the next one so I can stay on topic. In this round of letters, I plan to tell them about the trip I took to Chicago in December. I took some pictures of the skyline, some street art, and the ice skaters in the middle of the city. I'm excited to get writing them. I also have to write a birthday letter to one of my kiddos. He turns 10 soon!

    I slept until 1:30 p.m today.

    I stayed up until 3 a.m last night.

    I went to Target today.

    Apparantly everyone else was at Target too today.

    I am watching movies all night.

    I love the weekend.

    I was about to take a piture and my dog popped up on of nowhere! Made me laugh.

    This is absolutely what a genuine smile of mine looks like. I always force out smiles for the pictures.

    Today was a rough day with the kiddos. They were super loud, overexcited, and hyper. They kept hurting each other and multiple toys, including a pretty expensive one was broken today. We've only had that toy in our classroom for three days. I feel horrible.

    Hi there. It seems that I forgot to booth yesterday. That's weird. I wasn't doing anything important. Is it possible to be too lazy to booth?

    Today was a pretty good day. The kids were relatively well behaved, even if they were a little loud today. I think it's the warm weather. I'll take warm weather and a little craziness over snow anyday though.

    It's supposed to be warm like this all weekend. I think all of the snow is finally melted and the mud is gone. If so, I'm taking the kids outside tomorrow! Whoo!

    I can't believe it's February tomorrow. January FLEW by! I can't believe that I have to start thinking about Valentine's Day for my class. It's only two weeks away. Oh my goodness.

    Also, I'm addicted to the show Storage Wars. Maybe I should quit teaching and open a thrift store and start bidding on unclaimed storage units. Maybe I'll get a TV show out of it.
