Any 30 Seconds To Mars fans out in the DailyBoothiverse?
And yes I did just make up that word.
What's it to ya?
This painting,
sent in from @Dani_Sunshine
is of their lead singer Jared Leto.
He also does a little acting on the side.
This is a very well done portrait
that I'm sure Jared himself wouldn't mind hanging up on the wall.
That wouldn't be vain at all though right?
Whether or not your a fan of the music
I know that you can be a fan of this piece.
Because it is just plain awesome.
With a capital AWE and SOME.
Don't worry about if that made sense
Just worry about what your going to say in the comments below.
....Because there will be a test after. -
ArtBooth took a picture.
Lets keep moving with another piece of photography
from @VladimirTV
Taken of his Golden Retriever's eye.
I'm sure you could figure the eye part out
with out my help
but whatever.
Anyways,
I have two dogs,
One being a Golden Retriever and I know
that they don't sit still.
At all.
Ever.
So the fact that he was able to get this shot so perfectly
is a feat in itself.
So leave a comment.
And if you don't want to do it for me than at least do
it for @VladimirTV 's dog.
He's the one who is getting put on a pedestal like this and all.4 comments / 2 Days 22 Hours Ago

ArtBooth took a picture.
This piece of photography was an accident
according to @GameOver
but,
Accidents happen,
and sometimes they work out for the better.
As is the case here...
@GameOver loved this photo enough to photoshop in a lyric from
the Death Cab For Cutie song that he was actually playing when the
photo was taken.
I for one hope more accidents like this happen.
It would keep ArtBooth in business you know....
So let the artist know how you feel
and maybe you can "accidentally" comment below.
Don't worry..
No one will know you did it on purpose.5 comments / 6 Days 9 Hours Ago

ArtBooth took a picture.
If you remember correctly,
The first piece ever posted on ArtBooth
was painted on someones body.
And why not keep the tradition going with this stunning work
from @WillTaff
Done entirely by himself with watercolor and oil paint.
This amazing illusion showcases some serious artistic chops.
Taking about 40-45 minutes,
And no photoshop he is able to confuse my brain into forgetting
that there is dude in a speedo staring at me.
But honestly painting on paper is tough enough
and to be able to do it on your body
Takes it to the next level.
Bravo..
Also this isn't the only attempt at this type of painting
Check out his version of Starry Night:
http://dailybooth.com/WillTaff/329286
And then comment
in the space below.
Before I throw paint on your face.
Which would then turn into a Picasso.
Which would be sweet.16 comments / 1 Week 5 Days Ago

First Friday's!
So ArtBooth would like to think that once you get on the profile
that basically you have made it in life.
And that this is as about high as it gets buttt...
I guess thats not the case.
And you guys keep on creating and sending in work.
Geezzz..
Ok so here is the deal.
Every first friday of the month
We will feature an artist that has already been posted before.
Of course only once a month
so we can keep new artists up,
but we don't want you guys to think
we forgot about you,
once you've been featured.
So this piece is from @deanus
At only about 6x8
It is done with felt tip pens, pencil, ink, and correction fluid.
If you want to see what his last piece posted was
Check it out at:

Now comment!
For the love of pete.8 comments / Mar. 5th, 2010

Holy March,
It''s time for our first submission of the
greenest month of the year.
Lucky you of course.
I'll spare you anymore Irish stereotypes.
Sent in from @fairbourne
This is Dronia Fairbourne
A character for a book series that she plans on writing.
Drawn in 3-4 hours using graphite,
she is using this drawing and others to get a better idea
of her character when she is writing.
She has a talent here and I hope that the novel she is writing
is a graphic novel,
Because that would be sweeeeet.
So show some love and
leave a comment or
that leprechaun
from that crappy horror film will get you.
Seriously they're real.
And they hate cereal too.10 comments / Mar. 2nd, 2010

Maybe one day you will notice this piece
when you peruse your local book store.
Sent in by @BenHaMeanie
It is a possible cover for a story he is writing.
And when I look at it,
I really want to read the story and understand
what all of it means.
I just have to learn how to read first.
Illiteracy ftw.
Anyways,
There is a serious degree of quality in this
that would stop me in the bookstore.
I would hope that you would agree.
Who said judging a book by it's cover is a bad thing anyway.
Not ArtBooth
that's who.
Leave it some comments!
Unless your scared.
In that case, you should seek help.1 comments / Feb. 24th, 2010

Our next submission is from @ShaeEtNikiSontSaints
And while you are free to take from this piece
what you will.
There is a little bit of meaning behind it from the artist's perspective.
In their own words about the piece:
"The piece represents all those that become overcome
by everything around them
such as alcoholism, criminal activity, and other drug use.
And sometimes,
no matter how hard they try,
they cannot succeed to become pure once again."
So guys let the artist know what you think
and don't forget to comment in the space provided below.
That's that little white box.
It's pretty crazy.5 comments / Feb. 22nd, 2010

Febusketchy
According to my computer
that word is not spelled right.
Sounds kinda sketchy
And that sounded kinda Cheesy
Anyways,
What is Febusketchy
Only an entire month where @Francis draws one of you.
Everyday.
And you might be asking yourself.
But why tell us this now when there is like only 9 days left of this month?
Good question...
...So ya...
....Well anyways ArtBooth and @Francis didn't meet in this internet world until just recently so we better make up for lost time and get you to checking it out.
The above piece is one of the many drawings that he has done so far.
So check it out and maybe you will see your face on the next installment of
FEBUSKETCHY!!!!!16 comments / Feb. 20th, 2010
