Instead of learning my driving theory or the 16 minute german symphony I need to know off by heart (both for next week), I procrastinate and actually booth for once.

HEY YOU! (:

So I've been a bit afk lately, sorry, this week has been crazy busy.
Two days at the norfolk show with the TB, good times. (:
Then my first gig in a proper venue, supporting the Secret Sisters. They were awesome, but I mostly fell in love with Simon Lynge, the other support act. The second I heard his voice I was mesmerised. He signed my CD. We had a nice long chat and I met his manager, wooh! :D

Gigging makes me super happy. I feel like I could do it forever. ^^

Have any of you ever done any gigs/played any venues?

So I suck at boothing.

Time for work-y work. Yay. (:

Friday night: Toga party. Amazing. Me and the Bear had best friend times and it was awesome and the bouncers were a bit forward. D: Yay spiking your own drinks.

Last night: First gig ever with Axel Laughrey (@manek43509 is the drummer) and it was amazing. People came up to be after our segment and were SO complimentary, was a massive shock. People were lovely. Band before us were AMAZING. Then the bassist drove me all the way home at 1am because he's my knight in shining armour. (:

Oh, but some crazy river bugs have massacred my skin. Those red marks all over my arm? Bites. They are also all over my legs, and my other arm, and randomly dotted all over my body.
Fuck you summer and your stupid bugs.

Do you get bitten lots in summer?

First exam this morning, General Studies, went pretty good. (:
Then an afternoon of gossip/being serenaded, followed by an evening in the park.
My drama class had a picnic and it was adorable. We ate food and played with a frisbee (I was on 'Big Dog's' team, what a joke) then my partner in crime and I went for a sit, so my two guys came to join, and we all went for a walk.
Eaton Park is totally beautiful, and it was so nice with just the four of us to talk and walk and laugh and it was just the perfect afternoon. PLUS I got to wear my new top which is all pretty and stuff.
Makes me kinda sad to leave them all, but who could ask for more.

Today was a good day. (:

Just got in from work.
We weren't even too busy, but the night was surprisingly a ton of hassle. I had to sing someone happy birthday as I carried them a cake. It was not pleasant. -.-
But I got to serve my family which was cute and my co-workers are absolute babes. (:

Exams this week. Scaaaaared.

I'm wearing a hoodie that is basically as long as my dress which was given to me by the cutest not-so-straight choir singer from New Zealand. It's snuggly. (:

Got an awesome text from @manek43509 confirming that I should be doing some gigs with a band he's in and I'm SO EXCITED SO THANK YOU KIT FOR BEING AWESOME.

I've also been able to skype with the wife lots recently, and it makes me so beyond happy. <3

Home alone on a saturday night playing my uke. (:
