こんばんは!

Alright, alright, I'll stop :P That class is still awkward as hell, but it looks like it'll be fun.

Anyway, the second day of classes went well. It seems as though I'm going to love great texts. Professor seems to really be passionate about what he does and he definitely knows how to do it. It makes it worth it to have fought for his class, as he's known to be one of the better professors for this course.

Oh, forgot to mention (though anyone who's awesome should be able to tell) I'm at Common Grounds for the second time this semester, but the first time where I've been able to come and relax and bring my laptop and such. It's nice to have internet that doesn't suck like the Baylor internet.

Cutting this short, as I'll have more to say as the semester passes and classes come. Can't wait for the rest of the semester at this rate, so I hope everyone reading this also has a great year/day/whateverwhatever. kbye

@explorer If you do end up in texas, depending on where, we should definitely meet up. It's a big state so it might not work out, and there may not be much to actually do, but it would be interesting perhaps =]

Air Force is an interesting choice though, branch-wise. Any reason why?

@johnlacey Nah that's cool! How long did it take you? It feels like drawing from another 2D image would be misleading in a lot of ways, just because drawing a live subject gets you more perspective to work with. Or am I completely off? I'm obviously not an artist :P

It really didn't take very long. (Though I was pretty caught up in the process of doing it so maybe it was longer. lol.) The thing I like about working from photographs is that well obviously the subject isn't moving and I can only see it from the one perspective. @Albatrossd

I guess the danger is that I look at a sitter from one angle, draw something, then look at a different angle and possibly confuse the sense of perspective. You can gain enough clues by looking at the light/shading. @Albatrossd
