    My brother arrived in Beijing on Sunday. And I'm finally well enough, with a few coughs sometimes, to do some sightseeing.

    Yesterday, we visited the Summer Palace in Beijing. It's in the outer ring of the city, where there is less smog. It was ridiculously hot, 34°C and sunny. This is just some place near the lake. After a while, everything looks the same.

    Fever's gone. But now I have a bad spastic cough and phlegm. Lovely. I hope I don't get lifelong Asthma from my 3 weeks in Beijing.

    On the bright side, I will be starting Dental School in September! This is my celebratory picture with my boyfriend. And we're going out for dinner with his friends in a bit. :)

    Well, I'm sick in Beijing. The air quality is pretty crap. Both my tonsils are swollen, my head and neck hurts. The streets are pretty unimpressive with spitters, garbage and dogpoo that no one picks up. And other nasty god-knows-what.

    On the bright side, I saw this cute shop today and it tickled my fancy. I think @mkinesis would appreciate it too! :)

    Waiting at Hong Kong International Airport. Yay for free Wi-Fi.

    Flight to Beijing at 1:10PM. Not looking forward to a more polluted metropolitan.

    Excuse my tired look. Less than 6 hours of sleep makes me look like a zombie. Up at 8 AM to take a 9:20 bus to the airport. At the airport at 10:45 to check-in. Another hour to wait to boarding. Another 3.5 hrs on a plane too. So yeah. Tired.

    Having dinner tonight with my relatives on my paternal side of the family. Going to hunt for a good Korea deal today and tomorrow. Went shopping at New Town Plaza in Sha Tin yesterday, but didn't buy anything. Though I know what I want to get at Marks&Spencer next time I go. (There NEEDS to be Marks&Spencer in Canada again, poor profits killed it about a decade ago.)

    Plus, got my hair done too. What do you think?

    This is my first booth from Hong Kong. I just arrived yesterday afternoon after a 15-hr flight from Toronto. Staying at my uncle's place.

    SOOPER tired. Not just from the jet-lag but because i'm constantly doing stuff. Errands and meeting up with relatives and friends. Got my HKSAR passport done today, so I can pick it up after I go from Beijing. Still need to get my flights to Korea booked. Need to get my hair done. Need to do lots of stuff. I'm busier than during exam time!!!

    Sorry for lack of replies and always being MIA. Forgive me please?
