Sorry for being horrid with the whole daily picture thing.

New semester has started on Monday. I like most of my courses except for one taught by a lecturer with a horrid accent and one with just plain dry material.

How has your new semester been so far? What are you taking?

    my new semester will start in april? may? i don't even know! xD
    The only thing i know is, that i have exames in 3 weeks!

    My semester starts on Monday lol sooo It has been wonderful so far to not have to do anything haha.
    I am taking: Stats, Adult Development, Nutrition and Aging, Psych Principles of Learning, and Human Sexuality. =)

    @phamousboy So Guelph is like Queens? Starting a whole week later, sooooo jealous. Your courses sound pretty wicked. I'd love to take Human Sexuality. We have a sexuality course at UWO and every raves about how awesome it is!

    @AMCBold just felt like changing my name :) Was ich in meinen Semesterferien vor hab? Ich muss eine Hausarbeit fertigstellen (bzw. anfangen) und ein Blockpraktikum machen :) Wenn das vorbei ist, sind meine Ferien auch schon fast wieder vorbei ^^

    My semester doesn't start until the 1st of Feb - I've got one exam and one piece of coursework to get done before then!

    I'm gonna be doing France in Crisis though which I'm looking forward to - French History and Politics combined pretty much :D

    @Sazmerelda How does the UK uni system work? It seems to be very different from North American or German schedule. What's your major/minor?

    Um well you don't have a major or minor as such...

    You can do Single Honours (which is what I'm doing) where you just do one subject, or Joint Honours where you do two combined. Some Single Honours courses require you to do an extra subject on top of your main one to make up the point score for the semester - and these are the only modules you actually get to pick, at least in First Year. The others are decided by the university depending what course you're on. And each module is worth a certain amount of points, and the uni decides how many points you need to make up the year.

    So I'm doing Single Honours French, which for semester 1 consists of FREN101, FREN110, Fren122 and ITAL101, because I chose Beginner's Italian as a subsidiary.

    The American system confuses me (I have no idea how the German one works :S) - don't you have to carry on lots of subjects and then pick which one you want to do the most of or something? I don't really know O.o

    @Sazmerelda LOL the British system is complicated. The German one is complicated too, at least the old Diplom system. I'm kinda glad I'm in Canada. :P
