This is the instruction manual for Microsoft-DOS Version 3.21 which was made in like 1987 a year before I was born.

This was the first computer I've ever used and showed off to the rest of the primary school class by creating story "books" with a computer and printed paper (which I coloured in to add colour).

What was the first computer or gadgety thing you used or you remembered you had?

The first computer I used was Windows 3.1 at somepoint then my parents had a 93 in their room where I tinkered for hours on it. Love that thing, it's around somewhere :D

I remember DOS! Wow, that takes me back ... I wish Zool had lived on *sigh*

We had an old Spectrum which had games on cassettes.

@lewisking Oh sweet, my parents didn't get another PC til Windows 98' so I never got to use Windows until then.

Unfortunately I decided to rip the IBM machine apart and see what's inside it before chucking that bit of history away. Though I still have the Hard Drive. Check this.

@gossipguy17 Oh sweet you had a Spectrum in your house, I'm jealous. The IBM had games on floppy but we didn't get many. OMG I remember floppy disks included in magazines which I begged my mum to buy with free games.

Though my first games console was the Sega Mega Drive which I had a gun you could shoot at the screen, that was epic.

Didn't first use a computer to late on in primary school which was probably quite late compared to most people! I remember the sega mega drive very well I wish I knew where it ended up!

@3en We had a Speccy too. That is a real blast from the past. I even remember begging my parents for Granny's Garden for it. Took them ages to find the damn thing in the shops. Strangely enough, it was my dad's machine AND it was a present from his mother-in-law!!!!

My dad was one of the first people we knew to ever have a computer because he was doing freelance work and that made him more productive or something.
I can't really remember though and was too young for him to let me use it, I've only seen photos.

First computer I can remember using was our Windows 95 PC we had when I was in primary school! One of those really big tower PCs. Weird thinking about it. My iPhone can probably do more things faster than that monster did!

I used DOS as well... my father bought a computer as soon as he could, even though it was not much of use back then... :D

i'm pretty sure it was a gameboy! (the original grey one of course ;)) other than that probably an old computer at my dads former office? idk - probably the gameboy!
